Week 7 - Belleview

Sooooooo, we started off the week with exchanges which I don't enjoy. But once that was over I came home to Bellevue and had a wonderful experience. 😆 We went up to a house and my trainer said alright "Your sharing the Mormon message". And I really didn't have time to ponder the entire list of videos so I thought well.. Mountains to Climb is a good one. And we walked right in. Once we talked to the lady we found out that she had a overwhelming sickness. She had been going though some rough trials and she was glad to see us. I knew this Mormon message was for her. After we shared it the lady was in tears. She really connected with the video along with the spirit. She was overwhelmed with the spirit comforting her that everything was going to be okay. After we shared this message she asked for a blessing and as we left her husband thanked us for stopping by. I know that the spirit lead my mind to think of a certain video. It's amazing how the spirit works. While I've been on a mission I've thought I wonder if these are my thoughts or is it the Holy Ghost prompting me to share. And really it doesn't matter. As long as we act on our uplifting thoughts while we serve others. We will make a difference in someone's day.

Half way though the week my companion got sick so we stayed home the full day. It felt weird but it's gonna save us on miles. So as he slept I got caught up with writing letters. Shining my shoes and building Legos. I also read the August ensign which is really good. I've never read an ensign before but it was quite up lifting. My favorite articles were: Mission or Money?, Patience: More Than Waiting, The Power of Home Teaching, Going to Dad’s Rescue, My Iron Rod if you have time I'd recommend reading all of them but especially my iron rod. Especially if you are starting college. While I was searching on lds.org I found a really good song. It's a music video named fragile. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching it. (it's down below.) It's a great efy song. Go watch it.

Our investigators are really coming along. We have 4 on date for baptism. And three are progressing really well. I love missionary work, although it is tough. One of our gators only speaks Spanish. It's hard to communicate but I know that he feels the spirit when we're over. And I know that the Holy Ghost is ultimately the true teacher. This past week we brought in a Spanish speaking elder and he taught to him. He loved it. Although I didn't have any idea on what they were saying. I felt the spirit and that what matters. I enjoying seeing the effect that the gospel has on a persons life. I also enjoy letter from friends and family. Emails are great too. I love you guys. Thanks for taking the time to read this I know it must be long and obnoxious to read because of all the spelling/grammar errors. But thank you. And I love you guys. 😄😊😄
